As first reported on September 19, 2017, the City of Rochester has entered into a settlement agreement with former police lieutenant Elisa Umpierre after participating in a voluntary mediation.

Beginning at 7:00 AM on Saturday, September 23rd, 2017 Quick Way Rigging & Transfer will be closing the southerly parking and traffic lanes on Center Street West between 1st Avenue SW and 3rd Avenue SW and shifting traffic to the north side of the street.
Fireball Run in conjunction with the Rochester Visitor Bureau has applied for and been granted a Special Event Permit to close portions of 1st Avenue SW on September 24th & 25th, 2017.
On Sunday, September 24 survey crews will be collecting data within the traffic lanes along North Broadway Avenue, between Civic Center Drive and 13th Street North.
On Friday, September 22nd there will be an “Octoberfest” Event on 1st Avenue SW from Center Street West to the south side of the 1st Street SW intersection.
Beginning on Wednesday, September 20th, 2017, Rehnelt Excavating LLC will be doing storm sewer utility work in the northwest corner of 9th Street and 37th Avenue NW.
P2S Sections 1 and 2 have been available for public review for a number of weeks. We are now preparing their final drafts for a Fall 2017 public hearing schedule. 18th Ave NW will be closed for roadwork. The Route 26 will avoid 55th St NW and 18th.
Starting on Tuesday, September 19th, 2017 Griffin Construction Co. will be closing 48th Street SW, between 31st Avenue SW and Scenic View Drive SW to through traffic.
Beginning on Monday, September 18th, and lasting until the end of the construction of the Riverwalk Rochester project, Weis Builders will be closing the most northerly west bound traffic lane, located on the north side of the 400 and 500 blocks of Center Street East.
Maintenance crews will be resurfacing the Bear Creek Trail from September, 18 through October 15, 2017 from 4th Street SE to Pinewood Road.
The Government Center Circle will be partially closed off starting Friday 9/8/2017 at 5pm and lasting approximately 2 weeks.
The reconstruction of 18th Avenue NW (CR 112) is set to begin on September 11, 2017.
The reconstruction of Park Lane SE will begin this week.
Beginning on Thursday, August 31st, and lasting until the end of October 2017 Weis Builders will be closing the sidewalks located on the south side of the 1400 block of 2nd Street SW.
Beginning on Monday, August 21st, and lasting until the end of the construction of the Riverwalk Rochester project.

The bike / pedestrian trail along the north side of 16th Street SW, from the intersection of Mayowood Road down to the Zumbro River, will be closed to bike and pedestrian traffic.
