Active Community Planning
Project Description
Active Community Planning Rochester is supported by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota as part of a long-term health initiative to tackle the root causes of preventable heart disease and stroke.
This initiative will include preparing amendments to the Comprehensive Plan and Rochester Zoning Ordinance and Land Development Manual to improve opportunities for incorporating physical activity into daily routines, and to better incorporate health into plans and ordinances. Draft amendments will need to be completed by late spring 2008. The funded project will be completed in August 2008
