Trees
Background
CUDE, with assistance from citizens, City and RPU staff, and the building/development community, has been working on a tree conservation program for the City of Rochester. To date, efforts have been focused on educating residents, builders/developers, and City/RPU staff on the importance of trees to Rochester's quality of life as well as how to properly plant and maintain them. CUDE plans to develop other program components that would plan for future tree canopy, address tree conservation strategies, and protect trees during construction.
