Volunteer for City Boards, Committees and Commissions
Do you want to be involved in your local government? The Rochester City Council seeks volunteers to serve on various city advisory boards, committees, and commissions. Applicants must be residents of Rochester and have a desire to serve their community in a volunteer capacity and be willing to contribute the number of hours necessary, for the particular group to which they are applying. If you're interested in participating, please download an application from the link below, apply online, or for more information, call 507-328-2700. The Mayor interviews applicants and shall appoint a member subject to city council confirmation. Selections are made as openings occur throughout the year.
