Pools
Pools will be open daily, weather permitting, starting June 11, 2011 for Soldiers Field and June 13, 2011 for Silver Lake. See specific times and other information for each of the pools below.
Silver Lake Pool's last day open for the season is August 7, 2011.
Soldiers Field Pool's last day open for the season is August 28, 2011.
The pools close if the air temperature is below 70 degrees. If the air temperature drops below 70 degrees at 5:00 p.m. and attendance is 10 paid admissions or less, the pool will close. If the pool is not open by 3:00 p.m. due to weather conditions, it will not open that day.
- Daily Fees for Pools: Youth - $3.00 Adult - $4.00
- 10 Tickets: Adult / Youth - $25.00
Tickets will be on sale at the pools beginning June 11 at Soldiers Field and June 13 at Silver Lake.
Soldiers Field Pool
Come and try out the awesome 112-foot Water Slide at Soldiers Field Pool. This impressive water slide joins the drop slide and the zero depth pool, making Soldiers Field Pool the place to be in 2010.

*Users of the zero depth pool at Soldiers Field will be charged the daily fee.
For pool parties the zero depth pool at Soldiers Field may be reserved from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Monday thru Friday at a cost of $110.00 per hour. The cost includes a lifeguard. Contact the Soldiers Field pool manager to make reservations at 281-6180.
Silver Lake Pool

*Users of the kiddie pool at Silver Lake will be charged a fee of $2.00 per family.

Foster Arend Beach
Beginning May 28, 2011 Foster Arend Beach will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. through Labor Day.
Free - No Lifeguards on duty at beach.
Foster Arend Beach has no lifeguards on duty. The Park and Recreation Department encourages the "buddy" system when enjoying the beach. Parents are responsible for their children.
The beach hours are 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.
The following regulations will be enforced at Foster Arend this swimming season:
- No swimming outside designated swimming area.
- No alcoholic beverages allowed in the entire park.
- No smoking in beach area.
- No glass containers in beach area.
- No dogs in beach area.
- The park will close at 9:00 p.m. nightly and the parking lot gates locked.
