Clinics are held at the NVC and other locations throughout North Country Region.
NVC PLAYDAYS
Playdays are half day events that last approximately 6 hours and consist of a round of pool play. Teams are assigned to a pool and will play everyone in that pool. Depending on the number of teams registered on any given day, a team will either play in a morning (8am -2pm) or afternoon (2pm-8pm) session. However, on Sundays if only one session is being held the times will be approximately 11am-5pm. Teams must be able to play at anytime on the date of the event they register for. To keep a competitive format teams are moved amongst the pools according to their finish at previous events. If a team has not yet played in an event for that season they will be positioned where the director feels is appropriate. Teams must be registered with USAV to participate.
NVC TOURNAMENTS
These are one day events with pool play followed by bracket playoffs. All teams continue onto the playoff brackets. Individual medals are awarded in each division. Tournaments usually start at 8am and finish about 5pm. Teams must be registered with USAV to participate.
FROSTBITE FESTIVAL
This is a two day event hosted by the Rochester Youth Volleyball Association/Southern Minnesota Volleyball. It is held in January, typically on the weekend proceeding Martin Luther King Day. For further information go to: www.rochesteryouthvolleyball.org
ROCHESTER CUP
This is a two day event with paid up officials for the entire event. Teams will play two rounds of pool play and finish with bracket playoffs. The event is held in May and is hosted by the Rochester Amateur Sports Commission. For further information go to: http://www.rochsports.com
ODD CUP
This is a two day event hosted by the Rochester Youth Volleyball Association/Southern Minnesota Volleyball. This will be a fun event featuring the ODD age groups (13,15, & 17). For further information go to: www.rochesteryouthvolleyball.org
SMV SPRING TOURNAMENT
This is a one day event with pool play followed by bracket playoffs and is hosted by the Rochester Youth Volleyball Association/Southern Minnesota Volleyball. It is held the 3rd or 4th Sunday in May. For further information go to: www.rochesteryouthvolleyball.org
NCR AREA EVENT
