First Tee Facility
Hadley Creek Golf Learning Center has been designated a First Tee facility by the World Golf Foundation. The First Tee's purpose is to create facilities and programs that make golf more affordable and accessible, with a strong emphasis on introducing kids of all races and economic backgrounds to golf. Special programs, fees, and equipment have been planned to serve the needs of youth golfers at Hadley Creek Golf Learning Center. Programs will be offered to youth ages 6-17 and grouped into Bogey, Par, Birdie, Eagle, and Champions Club Levels. PGA/LPGA professionals will direct all instruction programs.
Application forms are available at the Park and Recreation Department office at 201 4th Street SE (City Hall). Applications are due by May 1, 2002. For more information, call Hadley Creek Golf Learning Center at 529-4119.
