Daily Play Policies
- Foursomes have priority on the golf course. Twosomes and threesomes can expect to be paired up.
- Each golfer must have a ticket and a set of clubs.
- Soft spikes are the only spikes allowed at all city golf facilities.
- All power carts must have a yearly trail fee sticker displayed on the front of the cart. ($135 private cart fee)
- No outside beer, alcoholic beverages, or coolers may be brought onto golf premises.
- Young Adult golfers age 19-24 purchasing a young adult pass may play without restriction.
- Junior golfers age 9-18 purchasing a junior pass are restricted from playing as per the Junior Play Policies. (Juniors age 16-18 may purchase, at their option, a young adult pass and play without the restrictions of the Junior Play Policy.)
- Young juniors age 6-8 may play golf after 5:00 p.m. weekends at Eastwood and Soldiers Field. All Young Junior golfers must play following the Young Junior Play Policies.
- Any of the three municipal courses (Eastwood, Northern Hills, and Soldiers Field) may be reserved for shotgun tournaments on a limited basis. Scheduling must be completed at least two months in advance with the Director of Golf.
- Groups of 16+ may reserve tee times after January 1st of the current year. Scheduling must be completed with the Director of Golf and a deposit is required.

Junior Play Policies
The Junior Play Policy refers to juniors age 9-18 who have purchased a junior pass or paid a junior green fee. PLEASE NOTE: Juniors age 16-18 may, at their option, purchase Young Adult memberships and play golf without the restrictions stated below.
- A junior golfer may play anytime when accompanied by a parent.

A junior golfer playing without a parent may play the following times when school is not in session:
- Weekdays: Tee off #1 or #10 before 3:00 p.m.
- Weekends & Holidays: Tee off after 3:00 p.m.

While school is in session, juniors playing without a parent may play at the following times:
- Monday and Friday: Tee off anytime after school.
- Weekends and Holidays: Tee off after 3:00 p.m.
- Junior golfers may play the practice holes at Hawthorn Hills Golf Learning Center anytime.

Young Junior Play Policies
The Young Junior Play Policy refers to juniors age 6-8 who have purchased a green fee at Eastwood golf course, Soldiers Field golf course, or Hawthorn Hills Golf Learning Center.
- Young juniors may play golf at Eastwood golf courseor Soldiers Field golf courseafter 5:00 p.m. on weekends, subject to availability.
- Young juniors may play anytime at Hawthorn Hills Golf Learning Center
- One parent or guardian is required to accompany each young junior playing golf. Groups comprised of more young junior players than adults will not be allowed.
- Groups with young juniors are required to maintain an adequate speed of play, keeping pace with other groups on the golf course.
- Young juniors must be supervised by the accompanying parent or guardian to practice proper golf etiquette.
Please Note: Young junior play is not allowed at Northern Hills golf course.
