Rochester-Olmsted Planning Department to host series of comprehensive plan community engagement workshops
Community Engagement - Presentation slides
The City of Rochester is updating our Comprehensive Plan. The document, entitled Planning 2 Succeed (P2S), is intended to guide the growth of the community. Planning staff has spent the past several months exploring the land use, transportation, infrastructure, and fiscal impacts of several growth scenarios on our community. This meeting will share this information with the public and provide participants with an opportunities to provide feedback on the scenario planning process.
The agenda will be identical for each of these meetings, allowing multiple opportunities for the public to attend and provide input. The workshop times and locations are listed below. If you have questions please contact Mitzi Baker or David Dunn at 328-7100 or email@example.com

December 2, 2015 Press Release regarding Community Engagement Workshops
Rochester is a growing community and that growth is anticipated to continue. Growth and change presents both opportunities and challenges. Long-range planning is needed to position the City to address its long-term needs; to be resilient; to support changing demographics; and to address housing demand, multi-modal transportation needs, growth in jobs and visitors, and more; while working with finite resources. Rochester’s long-range planning effort, referred to as “Planning to Succeed” or P2S, will update the City’s Comprehensive Plan.
