Positive Drainage Required:   Developments shall be designed and constructed with a positive drainage flow away from buildings towards approved drainage facilities.  Plans for drainage facilities shall be approved by the City Engineer.  All interim and permanent drainage facilities shall be designed and constructed in accordance with the standards established in the City’s Stormwater Management Plan and the stormwater runoff standards in Section 64.310.

Drainage Plans to Account for All Development In the design of site grading plans, the provision of adequate buildable areas and areas for off-street parking is required.  The site grading plan shall also take into account the potential need for accessory buildings and, in the case of residential developments, required recreation area.
