The City of Rochester Public Works Department operates and maintains the infrastructure required to convey and treat the City of Rochester's wastewater.  Crews work 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to ensure wastewater is conveyed from your home or business connection in the street to the Water Reclamation Plant where the wastewater is treated.  Clean, reclaimed water is then discharged to the Zumbro River.  Efficient operations of the collection system and treatment plant help make Rochester a leading service provider.
