Sanitary Sewer Infiltration And Inflow Study - Kutzky Park
General Information
Kutzky Park is located between 6th Ave NW and 16th Ave NW, and between Civic Center Drive and 2nd St SW. Cascade Creek flows through the northern half of this neighborhood from west to east.
After the historic rain and flooding occurred in August, 2007 this area was identified as an area requiring more study to ensure that the sanitary sewer infrastructure is adequately serving this area.

Current Project Status & Updates
- Public Information Meeting - January 23, 2008
- Inspection letter mailed to the first 260 homes for in-home, lower level inspection - March 31, 2008
- Inspections started - April, 2008
- Televising of mains and laterals started - May, 2008
- As of August, 2008:
- 85% of the first 260 homes have been inspected.
- A team is working with the Saint Mary's facility on investigating sanitary sewer flows through hospital area.
- Smoke Testing of entire Kutzky sewer shed (see map) is scheduled for late August, 2008.
