Fleet Maintenance Facility
CATEGORICAL EXCLUSIONS DOCUMENTATION- JOINT PUBLIC WORKS/ PUBLIC TRANSIT GARAGE This report as prepared by Earth Tec documents the various social, environmental and economic impacts of the proposed project. The analysis documented that the proposed facility will not result in any significant social, economic, or environmental impacts.
PHASE I ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT OF PROPOSED SITE FOR THE JOINT PUBLIC WORKS/ PUBLIC TRANSIT GARAGE - This report prepared by Earth Tec inventories and assesses the environmental impacts. The Phase I Environmental Assessment “revealed no evidence of environmental conditions (as that term is defined in ATSM Standard Practice E1527-00) in connection with the property.”
PRELIMINARY FINAL REPORT FLEET MAINTENANCE PLANNING AND CONSOLIDATION EVALUATION – This is a preliminary draft report on the consolidation of the City’s fleet services. The report was prepared by Chatham Consulting Inc. The final report is subject to a review currently being conducted by the City Finance Department.
Traffic Calming In Rochester
On Monday, April 28, 2008 Gary Shannon, City Traffic Engineer, presented to the Committee of the Whole regarding the recent trend in citizen requests for neighborhood traffic calming efforts. Mr Shannon reviewed how the department identifies potential problem road segments by collecting both speed and volume data. Mr. Shannon also reviewed a possible strategy for submitting calming requests to the city as well as how the city could accept, prioritize, and respond to these requests. Sanitary Sewer Infiltration And Inflow Studies

RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING "NO-FAULT" SEWER BACKUP REIMBURSEMENT POLICY
On Monday August 20, 2007, the City Council voted to implement a No-Fault Sewer Back-up Reimbursement Policy. The policy was created in response to the significant rainfall that occurred on August 18 and 19, 2007. Based on the provisions of the new Policy, a property owner may be eligible for up to $10,000 in financial assistance for the cleanup and repair of your property. Please be advised that the Policy only applies to damages resulting from the sewer back-up. Water damage due to surface water flooding or foundation wall or floor seepage is not covered under the Policy.
50th Avenue NW from Valleyhigh Road NW (CSAH 4) to 65th Street NW
The City of Rochester is proposing to reconstruct 1.2 miles of 50th Avenue NW from Valleyhigh Road (CSAH 4) to 51st Street. Expansion to four-lane, urban divided facility, off-road trails, traffic signal at Valleyhigh Road, roundabout at Badger Hills Drive and regional pond with stilling basin in golf course.

55th Street NW/West Circle Drive Area Transportation Improvements
The City of Rochester, in cooperation with Olmsted County, is proposing to improve the transportation safety and operations in and around the 55th Street NW and 41st Avenue NW neighborhood.

Construct 20th Street S.E. from CR 1 (11th Ave SE) to CR 36 (Marion Rd SE)
DESCRIPTION: The Construction would consist of: Construction of a 36 foot wide rural section roadway, bridge structure(s), pedestrian trail facilities, and storm water facilities. This corridor is identified on the ROCOG 2035 Long-Range Transportation Plan as an urban arterial. The proposed project would connect the intersections of CSAH 1 / CR 146 with CSAH 36 / CR 143. This connection would complete a 4-mile long east-west corridor approximately 1 mile north of TH52 and also 1 mile south of TH 14, and would reduce traffic demand on these parallel routes. The project potentially includes 2 bridges, one over Willow Creek and one over Bear Creek.
UPDATE (Feb 15, 2008): A public informational meeting was held, Wednesday, February 13, 2008. The City and it’s consultant (Earth Tech, Inc.) provided information on scope of the proposed project, anticipated schedule, and funding. In addition, a brief discussion of the hydraulic analysis and it’s impacts to the surrounding areas was described to the participants. The hydraulic analysis information provided is the basis of the information contained in the City’s Conditional Letter of Map Revision Bear Creek – River mile 2.66 to 3.97, 20th Street SE Connection Project document that is out for agency comment. The following is the anticipated schedule for those Public Hearing associated with this document:
