Directed by a Plan of Action which is developed by the Board of Directors, the Chamber and its staff provide networking, marketing, and educational opportunities to the membership. Through various committees and task forces the Chamber works to represent the business community on economic and governmental issues. In addition, the Chamber has programs to help you promote your business.

The Rochester Amateur Sports Commission (RASC) was formed in 1991 by a core group of business and sports visionaries. The vision was to bring to Rochester, major national and international events, and along with them, the recognition of Rochester as a hub for amateur sports. Over time, RASC has established itself as one of the premier sport organizations in the world.

The Rochester Gold Rush is generally the 2nd weekend in May, the 3rd weekend in August, and the 3rd weekend in September at the Olmsted County fairgrounds.
