The chip seal project will take place in three phases, with the following tentative schedule: 

• Week of July 7: Preparatory work, including sweeping and cleaning streets 

• Week of July 14: Chip sealing (See green highlighted streets on the map) 

• Week of July 21: Clean-up work, including sweeping loose chips 

“No Parking” signs (as noted above) will be posted on affected streets ahead of work. All parking is prohibited in the posted work zones Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Violators will be ticketed and towed. Unless posted otherwise, parking is permitted on weekends and outside of work hours. Signs will remain up through July 25 or until all work and clean-up are completed. 

Residents should expect temporary street closures, short-term delays, and increased traffic congestion near chip seal zones. Streets can be driven on once chips are placed and rolled, but caution is advised as loose chips will remain until street sweeping is complete. Loose gravel signs will be posted in affected areas. Final striping will follow sweeping on select roads. 

As always, project timing is weather-dependent.
