One man is in custody after the Rochester Police Department conducted a proactive undercover operation targeting online offenders attempting to solicit minors for sexual acts.

 

In collaboration with the Cottage Grove Police Department, officers arrested 42-year-old Jeremy Stroth of Cottage Grove during a traffic stop on July 30. The ten-week investigation found he exchanged messages with an investigator in an attempt to engage in criminal sexual conduct with a minor.

 

Stroth faces the following felony charges:
