President and CEO of Catholic Charities of St. Paul & Minneapolis Joins City and County Officials for a Discussion on Homelessness
The City of Rochester and Olmsted County will host Rochester native Tim Marx, President and CEO of Catholic Charities of St. Paul and Minneapolis, on July 10, 2019. Marx will be in Rochester to discuss the topic of homelessness, as City and County officials continue to look for opportunities and solutions on how to best serve the needs of the community.
Members of the media are invited to a joint press availability with Mayor Kim Norton, County Commissioner, Sheila Kiscaden, and Tim Marx on July 10, 2019 starting at 4:30 p.m. in Room 161 of the Olmsted County Community Services Building (2117 Campus Drive SE). This will be the only opportunity to interview these representatives.
Marx has previous experience as a practicing lawyer, public official, nonprofit leadership, and significant civic involvement including current board service for Fairview Health Services, the Minneapolis Downtown Council and the National Alliance to End Homelessness.
Olmsted County teammates will host a conversation with Marx earlier in the day. Marx will then join Mayor Norton for the Mayor’s Work Group on Homelessness at 6:00 p.m. at the Mayo Civic Center.
