On Tuesday, February 26th, 2019, weather permitting, Ryan Companies will be closing the south bound traffic lane and shifting south bound traffic into the parking lane along 1st Avenue SW between 1st Street SW and Center Street West.
A Free Winter Maintenance Workshop has recently been added to the City of Rochester's Stormwater events calendar for March 13. All plow drivers, maintenance workers, building managers or others who are involved in winter parking lot or sidewalk management are encouraged to attend.

City crews will be removing snow on Thursday night into Friday morning from the downtown area streets. The following streets will be posted by 2/21/19 at 11:00am for scheduled snow plowing between the hours of 12 AM and 8 AM on Friday, February 22, 2019.

Hosted by Rochester Public Library, the new Seed Library will feature 44 varieties of seeds for fruits, vegetables, and herbs. Keri Ostby, Head of Technical Services says RPL cardholders will be able to borrow 10 packets of seeds each year, with no expiration date.

Merit Contracting Co. Inc., weather permitting, will be shifting and restricting traffic between 2nd Street and 3rd Street SW along 3rd Avenue and 4th Avenue SW on Saturday, February 23rd, 2019 from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

The City of Rochester received a communication from Bloom International Realty LLC regarding the Rochester Riverfront Redevelopment Project. In its communication, Bloom indicated its desire to continue to move forward with a revised proposal but did not provide any date for future correspondence.

Kraus-Anderson Construction, in conjunction with the construction of the “Hilton Hotel / Rochester Parking Ramp # 6” projects, has requested an extension of the roadway closure on 1st Street SE between the alley west of 1st Avenue SE and Civic Center Drive SE.
Leaders from Rochester Parks and Recreation, Olmsted County Public Health, Destination Medical Center Economic Development Agency (DMC EDA), Rochester Public Library (RPL), Experience Rochester, and Mayo Clinic collaborated to re-launch a bike share program in 2018.
