On Wednesday, May 15, 2019 construction on the 7th Street NE Bridge over the Zumbro River will start.
As such MetroNet, is expected to begin work in Rochester the week of May 13, 2019. The community is encouraged to watch for mailed letters, postcards, and physical signage, which will keep them apprised of the work.

As a part of the 1st Ave SE Sewer project, 3rd Ave SE from 4th St to 2nd Street SE will be reduced to two lanes (one each way) on the East part of the bridge starting Monday, May 14, 2019.

Beginning, Friday, May 10th Hybrid Mechanical will be closing the most southerly roadway lane along 4th Street SE from west of 6th Avenue SE.
On Monday, May 13, 2019, work will resume on the traffic signals modification project located at the intersection of 41st Street NW and 31st Avenue NW.
Beginning on Monday, May 13th, 2019, weather permitting, Ryan Companies will be completely closing 1st Avenue SW between the south side of the Peace Plaza crosswalk at 1st Street SW and Center Street West.
Utility work is causing lane closures and forcing detours to four routes.
