The City of Rochester Minnesota, a Municipal Corporation and the Rochester Airport Company invite interested parties to submit proposals for the award of non-exclusive rental car concessions at the Rochester International Airport pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth in the proposals and contract documents.

An optional Pre-Proposal meeting will be held at the Airport Administrative Offices on the second floor of the Terminal Building on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 3:00pm.

The City of Rochester is anticipating to receive approximately $600,000 from
the Department of Housing and Urban Development and $40,000 from program income through the Community Development Block Grant Program beginning January, 2019.

REQUESTS: All individuals, groups, organizations are invited to submit an
application for CDBG funding for activities / projects benefiting low-moderate income Rochester residents. All application requests must be submitted by August 22, 2018, no later than 5:00 p.m. Non-profits submitting an application must include their latest available IRS 990 Form.

As reported in the Five Year Consolidated Plan for the City of Rochester, priority needs identified are: owner occupied home rehabilitation, rehabilitation of rental units, emergency shelter for homeless, special needs housing, youth programs, child care programs, senior services, affordable housing, public facilities, handicapped persons, planning and neighborhood facilities.

PUBLIC HEARINGS: The Rochester City Council will hold two public
hearings. The first public hearing will be held on WEDNESDAY, September
5, 2018, 7:00 p.m. in the Council/Board Chambers at the Government Center,
151 SE 4th Street, Rochester, MN. All persons are invited to provide a five
minute verbal testimony regarding the use of these funds at this meeting.
The second public hearing will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018, 7:00 p.m.
in the Council/Board Chambers at the Government Center, 151 SE 4th Street,
Rochester, MN. The City Council will announce the appropriations at this
meeting. All persons are invited to attend.

The City Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Rochester, Minnesota, will hold a public meeting in the Council/Board Chambers of the Government Center, 151 4th Street SE, Rochester, MN, on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. regarding:

Conditional Use Permit #R2018-028CUP by Regency Multi-Family for a substantial land alteration for a cut or fill in excess of 10 feet in height. The site is 53 acres and is located at the northeast corner of the intersection of Alpha Parkway NW and 50th Avenue NW.

Conditional Use Permit #R2018-027CUP by Village Capital Corporation for a substantial land alteration for a cut or fill in excess of 10 feet in height. The site is 20 acres and is located at the southeast corner of the intersection of Alpha Parkway NW and 46th Avenue NW.

Conditional Use Restricted Development Preliminary Plan #R2018-026CUP by Towner Companies for a 53,390 square foot self-service storage facility. The site is 3.25 acres in size and is located on the north side of Scott Road NW, approximately 800 feet east of the intersection of Scott Road NW and Commerce Drive NW.

Conditional Use Restricted Development Preliminary Plan #R2018-025CUP by J and L Adams Properties, LLC for a 60-space parking facility in the R-1 zoning district and a 3,320 square foot drinking and entertainment use in the B-4 zoning district. The site is 1.4 acres in size and is located on a block bounded by 1st Street SW to the north, 19th Avenue SW to the east, and 2nd Street SW to the south.

A project to amend the existing Incentive Conditional Use Plan of 1996 to construct a phased expansion. Phase I is a new 2-story addition north of the existing building consisting of 1,490 square feet. Phase II is a future potential expansion of an additional 3-stories of 36,376 square feet.
