NOTICE OF THE PRESIDENTIAL NOMINATION PRIMARY

Pursuant to Minnesota Statute 207A.11, a Presidential Nomination Primary will be held on March 3, 2020, in the State of Minnesota, the County of Olmsted. Presidential nomination primary voters must be registered to vote pursuant to Minnesota Statute 201.054, subd. 1.
Nomination primary voters must also request the ballot of the major political party for whose candidate the individual wishes to vote. Polling place election judges must record in the polling place roster the name of the major political party whose ballot the voter requested. The county auditor must include the name of the major political party whose ballot the voter requested with the voting history of the nomination primary election.
The major political party ballot selected by a nomination primary voter is private data, except that it will be shared with the chairs of the major political parties in the State of Minnesota.

NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC MEETING 

The Common Council of the City of Rochester, Minnesota, will hold a public meeting in the Council/Board Chambers of the Government Center, 151 4th Street SE, Rochester, MN, on Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. regarding:

Conditional Use Permit CD2019-008CUP, by Camegaran, LLC, for a surface parking lot to be known as KMART PARKING FACILITY.  The site is 11.33 acres in size. The proposal includes two phases of constructions totaling up to 1,361 parking stalls. The Site is located north of 9th Street SE, between Broadway Ave South and 3rd Ave SE.  

Public testimony will not be taken at this meeting on this item.  However, all interested persons are invited to submit written comments to communitydevelopment@rochestermn.gov on this matter prior to the above mentioned meeting date. Agendas, staff reports, and minutes pertaining to this item will be posted on the City’s website on the Friday before the meeting at:  http://rochestercitymn.iqm2.com/Citizens/default.aspx

Notice is hereby given by the Common Council of the City of Rochester, Minnesota, that all persons interested in Residential Permit Parking, for the eligible properties on the north side of the 1900 block of 2nd Street SW to be able to purchase permits, may be heard at a meeting of the Common Council to be held in the Council/Board Chambers in the Government Center, 151- 4th Street SE in said City at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 2, 2020.

The City Council will consider a petition by residents and owners on this street to establish Residential Permit Parking privileges in accordance with City Ordinance Chapter 11-10. The proposed parking plan is to allow the eligible residents who reside on the north side of the 1900 block of 2nd Street SW the privilege to purchase permits to park in designated Residential Permit Parking areas in Zone 10, West Zumbro Area.
