To reduce the risk of you getting or spreading COVID-19, health officials recommend taking the same precautions for Coronavirus as you would for avoiding colds and the flu:

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Stay home when you are sick; except to get medical care;
  • Cover your cough and sneeze;
  • Avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth;
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces;
  • Practice good hand washing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
