The City of Rochester contracts with a number of non-profit agencies to provide needed public service to the Rochester community.  The council determines funding based upon available resources and the public benefit these organizations provide, benefits that might otherwise need to be provided by the City government.  

The following outside agencies are scheduled to receive City funding in the coming budget year:

Senior Citizens Center
Diversity Council
Rochester Area Economic Development, Incorporated (RAEDI)
Greater Rochester Advocates for Universities and Colleges (GRAUC)
Rochester Art Center
Rochester Civic Theater
Rochester Youth Commission
Rochester Human Rights Commission
RNeighbors
Southeastern Minnesota Initiative Fund
History Center of Olmsted County

A Note on using GuidestarTM
Registration on this site is required in order to obtain this information from GuideStar, however, basic registration is free.

Once registered, search for the non-profit organization of interest, then click on the tab labeled  “Forms 990 and Docs” to find links to the last three years of financial data.
