Enforcement by Rochester Police Department was set to resume on July 1, but a new target date of August 3 has now been set.
The expiring enforcement pause had been put in place to provide parking options for essential workers.
The FTA announced that the City of Rochester will receive $3,156,746 in funds to purchase new electric buses and related charging infrastructure through the Low- or No-Emission (Low-No) Grant program.

Starting Monday, May 18, RPT will begin more frequent service, with trips every 10 minutes during morning and afternoon peak times. During the midday hours, trips will be scheduled every 30 minutes.

Beginning today, Rochester Public Transit (RPT) is suspending fare collection aboard on all buses and routes and requiring passengers to board and exit the bus using the rear door.
