Project Name: Alatus Berkman Project

  • Street/Alley Obstruction (Permit #200033): Valid January 1 - July 31, 2020
    Contractor has fencing along the project boundaries. The sidewalk along the south side of 2nd Street SW from 14th Avenue to 15th Avenue will be completely closed. The sidewalks along both 14th Avenue SW and 15th Avenue SW will be completely closed from 2nd Street SW to the south end of the project boundary.


Project: Hotel Indigo

  • Street/Alley Obstruction (Permit #200012): Valid March 31, 2020
    Contractor will be completely closing the sidewalk and turn under bay along the north side of 3 Street SE from Broadway to east of the building. The drop off lane and sidewalk on Broadway will be completely closed. Click here for a map

Project Name: Wells Fargo

  • Street/Alley Obstruction; Use of Metered Space (Permit #200017): Valid January 1-31, 2020
    Contractor will be completely closing the northbound travel lanes along 1st Avenue SW from Center Street to 1st Street SW. 1st Avenue will be "No through traffic" from 2nd Street north to just south of the crosswalk. Access to the Marriott will be off 2nd Street SW. The roadway will be reopened and materials removed (excluding the two spaces where scaffolding poles are) for any plaza events.
  • Street/Alley Obstruction; Use of Metered Space (Permit #200016): Valid January 6-7, 2020
    Contractor will be completely closing 1st Avenue SW from W Center Street to the south side of the Peace Plaza Crosswalk to complete glass install required for the Wells Fargo Project. Meters south of the closure will be used for U-turns on 1st Avenue SW. Sidewalks along the east side of 1st Avenue will also be completely closed to allow work to take place. Project Name: Kahler Grand Remodel

  • Street/Alley Obstruction (Permit #190059): Valid January 1 - August 31, 2020
    Contractor will be completely closing a parking lane and an eastbound traffic lane on West Center Street from 2nd Avenue SW east to the alley. Traffic will be shifted to allow for one lane in each direction around the work area.

Project Name: Civic on First

    Contractor has a temporary construction entrance with a temporary apron off Civic Center Drive at 2nd Avenue NW. 1st Avenue NW from Civic Center Drive to 3rd Street NW has traffic shifted into the northbound and parking lanes, leaving one lane in each direction. Contractor will obliterate pavement markings and latex paint new markings for the project.

    Contractor will be completing work in the City of Rochester Right of Way and along city traffic lanes. Additional Right of Way permits will be required for traffic lane closures, roadway closures, and sidewalk closures.

Project Name: 324 1st Avenue SW Apartments

    Contractor will be setting up jersey barriers to start construction fencing on 324 1st Avenue SW. The parking lane and sidewalk along the north side of 4th Street SW and east side of 1st Avenue SW will be completely closed for the entire duration of the project.

    Contractor will be completely closing sidewalk along 2nd Street SW & 1st Street SW from 11th Avenue SW to the west end of building and 11th Avenue SW from 2nd Street SW to 1st Street SW. 11th Avenue SW will be restricted to (3) 11' drive lanes leaving 2 southbound lanes and 1 northbound lane. 1st Street SW Parking lane will be closed along site.

    Contractor will be completely closing the sidewalk along 6th Avenue SW and 2nd Street SW adjacent to project site (601 2nd Street SW). The alleyway will be completely closed north of 2nd Street west of 6th Avenue SW. Access to property owners to west and north of the site is still required from the alley. Project Name: Hilton Building

  • Street/Alley Obstruction (Permit #200064): Valid January 1 - February 28, 2020
    Contractor will be completely closing the sidewalk, bus parking lane and the bus shelter on 2nd Street SW from 2nd Avenue SW to the west. This closure is to allow construction at the Hilton Building.
