Fourth of July with Music and Fireworks
Est. 2021
Held at Soldiers Field Park, 4th Fest features live music, a virtual pet parade, and a fireworks display to close the night. It’s a chance to gather, unwind, and enjoy music and fireworks together.

Video Highlights from 2024
2024 Fourth of July Poem by Rochester Poet Laureate
Commissioned by Rochester Public Music, this annual tradition features an original video poem by Poet Laureate Jean Prokott. The piece honors themes of community, place, and celebration, and was shared onstage at 4th Fest.
2024 Virtual Pet Parade
A joyful tradition featured as part of the 4th Fest program. This on-screen video presentation highlights creative submissions from Rochester pet lovers and families, and was shown on the big stage at Soldiers Field Park.
