Volunteer for City Boards, Commissions and Committees
Do you want to be involved in your local government? The Rochester City Council seeks volunteers to serve on various city advisory boards, commissions and committees. Applicants must have a desire to serve their community in a volunteer capacity, be willing to contribute the number of hours necessary for the particular group to which they are applying, and may be required to meet specified residency requirements. If you would like to contribute in this way, simply apply online. Specific details for each group are provided on this page. For more information, call 507-328-2700. The Mayor interviews applicants and will appoint members subject to City Council confirmation. Selections are made as openings occur throughout the year.
