The City Clerk's Office is responsible for handling payment of parking citations

Citations are only reviewed by the City through an administrative process that starts by completing an electronic citation review form.

Mail

Make your check or money order payable to the City Clerk's Office and write down the ticket number and your vehicle license number on your check or money order. Do not mail cash. Use the envelope provided or mail to:

In Person

You may pay a citation by dropping it off in person in the drop boxes at City Hall. There is a secured after hours drop box located at the Government Center parking lot, as well as a second drop box inside City Hall.

Contest a Parking Ticket Validly issued tickets cannot be contested with the City of Rochester. Follow the instructions on the back of the citation to contest a ticket in District Court. If you believe a citation was issued in error, you can complete an electronic form explaining the error.
