Right-of-Way Permits

The City strives to keep its public rights-of-way in good repair and free from unnecessary encumbrances to provide for and protect the health, safety and welfare of its residents and to ensure the integrity of its streets and the appropriate use of the public rights-of-way.

Rochester Code of Ordinances 9-2 and Rochester Code of Ordinances 9-1 identify the regulations associated with the management of public rights-of-way. Please refer to the ordinances for the details of the regulations.
