Meters are enforced on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Parking meters use color codes to show how long you can park in each spot:
- Yellow meters: 3‑hour parking limit, and the first 10 minutes are free.
- Gray meters: 3‑hour parking limit.
- Note: Gray meters in the Zumbro Market Lot have 2-hour time limits.
- Purple meters: 3‑hour parking limit.
- Green meters: No time limit.

Meters are not enforced on the following holidays:
- New Year's Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving
- Christmas Day
IMPORTANT NOTE: TIMES LISTED ARE MAXIMUM TIME ALLOWED
Per City Ord 11-6-34, a vehicle is unlawfully parked if it remains beyond the legal parking limit established for the limited parking zone.
