The gymnasium area of the building is designed in size to accommodate one official high school basketball court or one full-size competition volleyball court. The gym can be set up for two practice volleyball courts or six basketball hoops with backboards for general recreation basketball. The gym also has three Pickleball courts marked out. The gym floor has a 9-millimeter basecoat topped with a topcoat, which reduces impact.
There are two 85' x 200' ice rinks for hockey, figure skating, Curling, and public skate sessions.
- The South Rink has seating for 2,508 spectators and hosts many Junior and High School hockey games. This rink is the main rink used by the NA3HL Rochester Grizzlies Hockey Team.
- The North Rink is typically used for figure skating, open skating and the Curling Club. This rink has limited seating and is located next to the Skate Rental Office and Skate Change area.

The pool has a depth range of 3.6ft to 4.6ft. The pool has a ramp and railing, making access easy.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to have a membership?
No. The Recreation Center is not a workout gym or a community center.
We offer prepaid passes that can be used in place of paying the $6 fee each time you participate in a scheduled event.
Passes are a great way to save money if you plan to swim, skate or play pickleball multiple times per week. Passes (sometimes called memberships) do not grant special access or different hours from the schedule set for open skate, open hockey, open swim, lap swim, pickleball, or any other public event.
