Candidate Filing Opens July 14 for Rochester School Board Election
The Rochester City Clerk's Office reminds residents interested in serving on the Rochester School Board that the candidate filing period opens Tuesday, July 14, and closes Tuesday, July 28, 2026.
Affidavits of Candidacy may be filed Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Rochester City Clerk's Office, Rochester City Hall, Room 135, 201 Fourth St. SE. The filing fee is $2.
Four School Board director positions will be on the Nov. 3, 2026, ballot. There will be no primary election.
The deadline to withdraw from candidacy is 5 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 2026.
