The Rochester City Council will consider an agreement related to the transition of transit operations services at its upcoming meeting on Monday, July 6. As Rochester Public Transit continues to prepare for future service needs, including the implementation of Link Bus Rapid Transit, the proposed action would support a coordinated transition between operating partners.
The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Heat Advisory for Rochester from Monday, June 29 through Thursday, July 2. In response, Rochester Public Transit (RPT) is activating the fare-free program “Cool Place to Be.”
