This change will go into effect on Sunday, November 1. RPT Routes 21, 120 and 150 will continue to service this Park & Ride and the timetables are not expected to change with this relocation. 

Construction activities will begin ramping up in the coming days with equipment staging, a controlled drawdown of the lake and temporary trail closures for the safety of park users.

Beginning October 12, access between 16th Avenue SW and 2nd Street SW will be closed for two weeks while crews complete street and sidewalk concrete work.

Saturday, October 24 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the City of Rochester Maintenance Center (580 44th St. NE, Rochester).

Applications will be accepted through December 31, 2026, with funding available for gardens established during the 2027 growing season.

At 7 p.m. on October 7, the vacated street will close permanently to all traffic as construction in the area advances.

Beginning overnight from Friday, September 25, to Saturday, September 26, construction on 2nd Street SW at the interchange with Highway 52 will move to the north side of the roadway.

Fire Safety Week is happening October 4 to 10 and RFD is hosting open houses at all fire stations on Tuesday, October 6, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
