City of Rochester Announces 2026 Opening Dates for Beaches, Pools, Splash Pads and Aquatic Center
The City of Rochester Parks & Recreation Department is excited to announce the opening dates for its outdoor water recreation facilities for the 2026 summer season.
Cascade Lake Beach, Foster Arend Beach and the Lincolnshire Splash Pad will open Saturday, May 23, kicking off summer water recreation opportunities across the city. The Soldiers Field Aquatic Center will open Friday, June 5, followed by the newly improved Silver Lake Pool and Silver Lake Splash Pad on Monday, June 8. The new McQuillan Splash Pad will also be available for residents to enjoy throughout the summer season.
“We’re excited to welcome residents back for another summer season of outdoor water recreation,” said Paul Widman, Parks & Recreation Director. “From beaches and splash pads to pools and the aquatic center, these amenities offer fun, affordable opportunities for people of all ages to stay active and enjoy time outdoors.”
