Civic Center North Parking Lot Closing Permanently

July 31, 2026 – ROCHESTER, MINNESOTA – The City of Rochester is preparing for the permanent closure of the Civic Center North parking lot following the sale of the property for private redevelopment. The lot will close on Saturday, August 15. 

Community members who previously used the Civic Center North Lot are encouraged to use the public parking on the east side of the Civic Center South Lot. Daily and monthly parking options are also available in nearby ramps. More information on public parking can be found at rochestermn.gov/parking.
