Community Notification of Level 3 Registrant 10.29.26
In accordance with Minnesota’s Community Notification Act, the Rochester Police Department (RPD) is releasing information regarding Gerald Becker, a risk Level 3 registrant in the predatory offender registry.
Becker registered as homeless in Rochester, 55902 beginning on October 26, 2026. Additional information is available in a fact sheet.
The Community Notification Act requires a risk level to be assigned to persons who are subject to registration. The Minnesota Department of Corrections is responsible for assigning levels.
Level 1 – lower risk
Level 2 – moderate risk
Level 3 – higher risk
The Community Notification Act authorizes law enforcement to share information with the public about certain predatory offenders to promote community awareness and enhance public safety.
