Community Notification of Level 3 Registrant

In accordance with Minnesota’s Community Notification Act, the Rochester Police Department (RPD) is releasing information regarding Dion Mayer, a Level 3 registrant.

Mayer is being released from a Minnesota Department of Corrections facility to the 2100 block of Campus Dr. SE, Rochester, MN 55904 on April 13, 2026. Additional information is available in a community notification and education video.

Those convicted of sexual or predatory offenses have always been released to live in our communities, but it was not until passage of the Registration Act that law enforcement had the ability to track movement of these individuals after their initial release from custody. With the passage of the Community Notification Act, law enforcement now may share information with the public about many of these registrants. This creates an informed community that can engage with law enforcement to address any concerns and/or issues.
