Full Closure of West Center Street Begins Monday, May 11

May 4, 2026 - ROCHESTER, MN — West Center Street will be completely closed from Broadway Avenue to 1st Avenue NW beginning Monday, May 11. The closure is expected to last three weeks, depending on weather conditions. 

This temporary full closure is necessary to accommodate work on the parking ramp deck that spans West Center Street. Closing the street provides crews with the space required to safely and efficiently complete the project. 

Both pedestrian and vehicle traffic will be detoured around the work area for the duration of the closure.
