McQuillan Splash Pad Opening Delayed Pending State Inspection

Final construction work at the McQuillan Splash Pad is complete, but the facility's opening will be delayed approximately two to three more weeks while awaiting a required final inspection by the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH). 

The City had hoped to open the splash pad before the July 4 holiday weekend. However, the facility must receive final approval from MDH before it can open.

In the meantime, residents and visitors can enjoy the splash pads at Lincolnshire Park, Soldiers Field Aquatic Center and Silver Lake Pool. Splash pad access at Lincolnshire Park and Silver Lake Pool is free, while admission fees apply at Soldiers Field Aquatic Center. 

The City appreciates the community's patience and understanding and looks forward to opening the McQuillan Splash Pad as soon as possible. Updates will be shared on the City's website and social media channels.
