Police Investigating Fatal Shooting in Northwest Rochester

Rochester Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting in northwest Rochester.

On May 14 around 5:15 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 900 block of 41st Street NW where a man was shot outside an apartment building. He later died from his injuries.

Preliminary investigation indicates the shooting was not random. While the suspect has not yet been located, there is no known threat to the general public. Police are actively pursuing leads.
