Notice of Power Issues Affecting Tonight’s City Council Meeting

May 18, 2026 – ROCHESTER, MINNESOTA – The City of Rochester is experiencing power issues in the Council Chambers that will impact tonight’s City Council meeting on May 18. At this time, Chamber power and lighting controls are not functioning and it is unlikely that cable or livestreaming of the meeting will be available.   

A full recording of the meeting will be uploaded and available tomorrow at rochestermn.gov/agendas. 

Community members are still welcome and encouraged to attend the meeting in person. 

City teammates are actively working with our service providers to identify the source of the issue and restore full functionality as quickly as possible. We appreciate the community’s patience and understanding.
