Parking and Wayfinding Information Available for Riverside Music Series

July 11, 2026 – ROCHESTER, MINN – Heading to Riverside tomorrow? All Riverside Music Series concerts take place in Mayo Park, behind the Mayo Civic Center in downtown Rochester. Mayo Park connects to Rochester’s trail system and can be reached by foot, bike or wheelchair, though conditions may vary by route. Whenever possible, we encourage guests to walk, bike, roll or carpool to help reduce congestion around the park.

Keep the following in mind:

  • The sidewalk on the east side of the 3rd Avenue SE bridge will be open to pedestrians for the day, making it easier to access Mayo Park from either side of the river. The bridge remains closed to vehicles, but visitors coming from the Government Center area can still use it to cross the river on foot. This sidewalk will close for construction during the week and reopen for weekend access.

  • The Civic Center Ramp will be open and parking is free on weekends. Additional free evening and weekend parking is available in nearby City-owned ramps, surface lots and street spaces, all within walking distance of Mayo Park.

  • Please note that downtown construction may add a few extra turns to your trip, and some walking and biking routes near Civic Center Drive and the bridge remain closed. We encourage everyone to review the Downtown Construction Map to plan your route.

  • Accessible parking is available in nearby ramps and in designated spaces along Civic Center Drive, closest to the Mayo Civic Center entrance. From there, guests can reach the park using level sidewalks and paved trail routes.

We look forward to seeing you at Riverside Concerts! The first show is Sunday, July 12. Food trucks open at 6 p.m. and music starts at 7 p.m.
