Police Lieutenant Graduates from National Command & Staff College

Congratulations to Lt. Jean Valere for graduating from the National Command & Staff College, an intensive graduate-level leadership education program.

The program blended 240 hours of online learning and 80 hours of classroom learning, including essays, discussion boards, case studies, a final exam and a capstone research project. Lt. Valere’s research project focused on officer mental health.

Lt. Valere received his Certification of Command & Staff Leadership at a ceremony on May 8 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
