RPD Bulletin 8.20.26 (2)
On August 20 just before 8 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 200 block of 9½ St. SE for a suspicious circumstance involving a juvenile male who was reportedly texting threats of violence. Officers located the juvenile in a vehicle leaving the area and attempted to stop it. The vehicle continued, prompting officers to pursue it. The vehicle continued until officers used a PIT maneuver on 14th Ave SW just south of 11th St. SW.
Three juveniles were taken into custody, and two firearms were recovered. No one was injured.
