RPD Bulletin

On April 12 around 2 a.m., officers responded to a report of gunshots outside 1645 Broadway Ave. N. Upon arrival they located a shell casing in the roadway but no gunshot victims. Officers were informed a fight had occurred at the location a short time earlier. As a result of the altercation, it was discovered a subject had sustained a significant laceration.

On April 14 following additional investigation, a juvenile male, age 16, Rochester, was taken into custody for felony assault-related charges. 

On April 23, in connection with the original reported gunshots, two search warrants were conducted in the 1200 and 1500 block of 4 Ave SE where three firearms were located. Additional charges and follow-up related to the incident are under review.
