How do you decide to cancel a show due to weather?
We cancel concerts when conditions make it unsafe for audiences, staff, or performers.
For outdoor events, that typically means sustained winds over 30 MPH, lightning nearby, severe storms (like hail or torrential rain), extreme heat, or poor air quality.
We work closely with the National Weather Service to make these decisions.
Can I sign up to receive email updates directly from Public Music?
Yes. You can sign up for email and text updates here.
After creating an account, you can choose what types of updates you’d like and how you’d like to receive them.
Do you post event updates on social media?
Yes. Urgent updates are shared on our Instagram and Facebook pages. For direct notifications, you can also sign up for email or text alerts.
