Est. 2019
Thank you for an unforgettable 2025 season!
Since 2019, the FORWARD Park Concerts have brought live music, food, and community to Rochester’s neighborhood parks on Wednesday evenings. Thank you to everyone who joined us in 2025 - from first-time guests to long-time fans, local bands, food vendors, and partners who helped make this season our biggest yet.
We’ll be back in summer 2026 with another six nights of music in the parks. Lineup announcement coming spring 2026 — stay tuned!
FORWARD is a free summer concert series that brings live music, food trucks, and creative activities to parks across Rochester. Each event features two bands and a welcoming, all-ages atmosphere.
The series rotates through every ward and is co-hosted by City Councilmembers. Whether you live nearby or are exploring a new part of town, you’re invited to bring a blanket, grab a bite, and enjoy an evening of local music in the park.
FORWARD is always free and open to everyone.
Highlights from 2025
- The Art Stop: A new hands-on artmaking space located next to the Public Music tent. These drop-in activities were free and open to all ages.
- New-to-FORWARD headliners: Wild Horses, Beth Bombara, Avey Grouws Band, Nathan Graham and Space Monkey Mafia performed in the series for the first time.
- Same great rhythm: Six nights, six parks, two bands each evening.
