Silver Lake Pool & Splash Pad

The All-New Silver Lake Pool was completed in the summer of 2026.  Amenities at the outdoor pool include:

  • 25 yard activity and lap pool with zero entry ramp
  • Climbing wall, aqua zip and basketball hoop
  • All-new pool house

  • Adult (18+): $5
  • Child (3-17): $3
  • Age 2 & Under: $2
  • Supervising/Non-Swimming Adult: $2

10 Visit Punch Pass: $25

Season Opening Date: June 9, 2026

Season Closing Date: TBD August

    • Open Swim Time
      • 12 - 8 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Thursday
    • Open Swim Time
      • 12 - 5 p.m.

Outdoor Pools - Policies:

  • There is a break everyday at the top of the hour. The pool will be cleared for lifeguards to perform a safety check.  Patrons can re-enter the pool once the whistle is blown to re-enter.
  • Children ages 12 & below must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Groups of more than 6 children with 1 adult will not be allowed.
  • No rough play or fighting.
  • Anyone in the pool or pool area without entering at admission desk or outside of public hours is trespassing and law enforcement will be contacted.  Jumping the fence is considered trespassing.
  • No alcohol/tobacco/vapes/drugs/weapons on the premises.  Management reserves the right to search bags.
  • Anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be asked to leave.
  • No profanity at any time.
  • No large coolers or coolers on wheels.
  • No glass of any kind.
  • Lifeguards/Management will give a warning to anyone for breaking a rule.  After that, a patron can be asked to leave.
  • Parks & Recreation and Silver Lake Pool staff are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Outdoor Pools - Pool Rules:

  • No rough play or fighting in the pool or on the deck
  • Walk at all times on the pool deck
  • No diving or flips into the pool
  • Stay off lane lines and ropes
  • No goggles or masks over the nose
  • Anyone not following the rules will get a warning and then be asked to leave

General Weather Policy: Silver Lake Pool will be closed if the air temperature is below 70 degrees.  If the air temperature drops below 70 degrees at 5:00 p.m. and attendance is 10 paid admissions or less, the pool will close.  If the pool is not open by 3:00 p.m. due to weather conditions, it will not open that day.

The City of Rochester is advancing the first phase of projects from the 2023 Silver Lake Master Plan. These enhancements aim to revitalize Silver Lake Park with new recreational facilities and community spaces. Key phase one projects include a modernized aquatics area, new playground, indigenous gathering area, skate park expansion, basketball court, and shelter renovations. These improvements total approximately $10.5 million, primarily funded through the 2020 Park Referendum, City Council allocations, and grants.
