The City Council approved changes to the Rochester Code of Ordinances regarding City Licensing.
These changes authorize the City Clerk's Office to issue licenses administratively to qualifying applicants across many of our license types.
Beginning February 9, 2024, a weekly report of issued licenses will appear in this section for easy reference.

Per the City Charter, proposed ordinances typically receive two (2) readings (announcements) at City Council Meetings.
The first reading serves as a notice; the second reading is given before the Council votes to adopt the Ordinance. Ordinances are in effect upon publication unless otherwise stated in the Ordinance.
